Styling for deccan herald editorial shoot (UCB collection)

Hey i’ve just started loving this journey so much more after i came to know that iam going to be a stylist for the Metro life Deccan herrald newspaper’s editorial shoot  me and my friend palak were chosen as stylist and models were Bhanu Adhikari and kumkum rathore from our college (Army institute of fashion and design ,bangalore) .
So, Yesterday at 4 o ‘clock we all left for shoot .Venue was the UCB store in indra nagar ,Bangalore . When we reached there we met  surupa, the cordinator of DH and then she asked me and palak to take different models and pick any clothes for them .My model was Bhanu adhikari so i rushed to the mens wear section we were asked to create three different looks .

So for the first look i hv decided to create a winter seasonal look because UCB has just launched there new winter collection .

“Experimenting by layering your clothes in an interesting and stylish way by picking up the right textures and colour can add new dimentions to your style. And going with the monochromatic colour scheme in winters for layering up the clothes will absoulutely  be a stunning idea .A grey sweat shirt under a black classy jacket paired with denims and boots and accessorizing it with a scarf or mufler will keep you warm and stylish as well.. And by removing one or two layers will also work for the other seasons also “.

And then for the second look i tried to create a semi formal kind off look which has looked amazing on Bhanu adhikari.

“Contrary to the popular beliefs semi formals are quite easy to follow but instead of going with a simple white shirt and black tie ,You can be more vibrant and trendy  while adding some colors to your formal wardrobe and some trendy jackets like nehru jacket ,they are formal yet comfortable and can be worn any where or on any occasion and under that going with a lighter shade shirt Pairing it up with different colour trouser and the shoes of the same colour of torso  will be a good idea as its going to keep up the balance of shirt with jacket .”
And for the last look i kept it little casual and the colours in UCB for casual wear were very soothing so i picked the ones .

“Going for the casuals doesnt mean going for the graphic tees and vibrant colours instead of spicing it up we should go for the soothing coloured clothes especially for summers lighter shades they reflect back the light and warmness and will make you look cool . Just go with a plain simple tee under a light colured check shirt and denim shorts teamed with good shoes  they are enough casual and comfortable you can go all day long with this style.. ”
